Hi Friends and Family!

Thank you for checking out my World Race Blog! I am so excited to be a part of the World Race leaving in August of this upcoming year. I will be graduating from the University of Colorado- Boulder in May and then leaving for this journey in August for almost one year.

The World Race is 11 months long and I will be working in 11 countries during that time. In each of these countries I am excited to grow in my faith, help other missionaries with projects they need done and see God on the move throughout these countries in South America, Asia, and Africa. In each of the eleven countries that I will be working in, I will be serving the people in different ways as their community sees fit.

I have been growing in my faith with God over the past seven years. I gave my life to Christ when I was a part of Young Life in High School. Throughout this part of my life, I was a part of a small group, attended main meetings and co-led a small group of girls in Wyldlife! Little did I know that God had so much more for me in college. I quickly became involved in an on-campus ministry called Stumo where I learned what it looked like to make disciples and practically walk with God through the rest of my life. The community that I have gained through this group of people has dramatically shaped my college experience and my walk with God.

God has been calling me to overseas missions over the past few years and I am so excited to see how God will use me through this program for what He has for my life and the other peopleโ€™s lives that I will be interacting with. In the past year, my relationship with God has grown so much deeper and I am excited to use this growth and continue to grow as I share the Gospel and help with projects in different communities around the world. There are so many different men and women around the world that are working as long-term missionaries in these countries that I am excited to help support.

I am asking for your help with prayer for my mission journey and the nations that I will be going to, with spreading awareness of my work/fundraising efforts, and helping out with donations for this journey if that is possible for you.

I will be raising $18,700 dollars for this year-long missions trip and this will cover everything from my flights, food, housing and the projects that I will be working on in each one of the places that I am going.

Please let me know if you have any questions about what I will be doing! I would love to reach out! Also, if you would like to keep up with my journey along the way, you can stay updated on this blog once I leave in August, by hitting the Subscribe button under my picture!

Thank you,

Claire
